Create a Ticket

Blast emerged from a collective dissatisfaction with movie theaters transitioning to digital ticketing. In response, every movie entry functions as a virtual ticket, providing the freedom to choose a film, poster, and cinema, followed by specifying details such as date, showtime, and reflections on the movie experience.

Each ticket includes two ratings: Movie Grade and Blast Grade. The Blast Grade captures the subjective value that standard movie ratings might overlook, enabling users to evaluate films based solely on their personal enjoyment.

Personal Feed

Upon entering Blast, instead of encountering trending movies with high scores, users are welcomed by a customized feed showcasing recent memorable movie outings of friends, spotlighting their watched films, companions, and theaters.

Movies

In the Movies section, users can browse through popular films or all-time classics. By selecting a movie poster of interest, one can discover its average Movie Grade and Blast Grade, along with essential details like release date, box office returns, duration, and a brief synopsis.

Blast emphasizes movie-centered connections; therefore, beneath a movie's information lies a collection of friends' tickets. Additionally, an option to view all tickets is available for those seeking amusing or moving theater experiences with high engagement.

Theaters

The quality of movies is inherently tied to the theater experience. In the Theaters segment, users are presented with nearby cinema establishments. Upon selecting a theater, individuals gain access to user-contributed photos, reviews, and ratings for that particular venue.

Profile Page

Your profile page serves as a canvas for personalization. Upload a profile picture and craft a brief bio to share insights about your cinematic preferences. Here you can access your past tickets, queued movies, and saved tickets in your archive. Moreover, your profile features a "My Favorites" section where you can compile your preferred movies, theaters, and genres.
